Hu Xiaojian, Secretary of the Yixing Municipal Party Committee, in his speech precisely summarized this extraordinary journey with "three 50 years": 50 years of Yixing's environmental protection industry is 50 years of pioneering and forging ahead, 50 years of innovation and transformation, and even more so 50 years of win-win cooperation. From the industrial germination of a single town to an industrial cluster with over 5,000 enterprises and 100,000 employees, it has forged the golden signboard of "For China's environmental protection, look to Yixing."

Mr. Sha Zukang, former UN Under-Secretary-General, starting from a global perspective, highly affirmed Yixing's half-century of perseverance and innovation; Su Kejing, Vice President of the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, standing at the industry level, provided strategic guidance for high-quality industrial development; Yong Qiang, President of Nanjing Forestry University, emphasized the enduring value of deep industry-academia-research integration for the evergreen industry. The earnest messages of these three important guests injected strong confidence and momentum into industrial transformation.

A Research Study on the Development of Yixing's Environmental Protection Industry from the Perspective of Social Systems Theory white paper was officially released. This research, from the perspective of social systems theory, analyzed how Yixing's environmental protection industrial cluster formed, how it developed, and why it is unique.

30·60 Fifty Years of Glory commemorative special issue was also launched simultaneously, collecting 50 years of Yixing environmental protection policies, enterprises, technologies, figures, and industrial reflections — a condensed industrial history.

Professor Ren Hongqiang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote speech titled "Yixing's Answer Sheet for China's Environmental Protection." With an authoritative perspective and detailed data, he provided a historically grounded assessment of Yixing's half-century of industrial contributions, profoundly explaining the unique coordinates of the Yixing model in China's environmental protection process.

The subsequent "Meritorious Dialogue" segment brought warmth into depth. Jiang Nanqing, Wang Hongchun, and Zhang Juping, three industrial pioneers, respectively shared their firsthand entrepreneurial stories from the dimensions of government coordination, enterprise inheritance, and professional dedication. Those fragments about perseverance, transformation, and inheritance made the abstract "environmental protection spirit" vivid and tangible.

In the cross-boundary wisdom sharing segment, Professor Wang Kaijun of Tsinghua University focused on technological evolution, analyzing the core path of transformation from "equipment manufacturing" to "technological creation"; Jiang Xipei, Chairman of the Board of Far East Holding Group, based on the AI wave, discussed new opportunities for the integration of the real economy in the "AI+" era; Li Li, Chief Expert of Beijing Enterprises Water Group, under the title "The Journey Has No Limits, Trust the Long Wind," shared cool-headed reflections and warm expectations for the future development of the environmental equipment industry.

The high-end roundtable forum, hosted by Pan Hailong, Vice President of the Yixing Green Low-Carbon Industry Association, pushed the conference to an intellectual climax. Professor Wang Hongchen of the School of Environment at Renmin University of China proposed the core viewpoint of "transforming environmental elements into resource elements," arguing that this is the inevitable path for the value leap of the environmental protection industry; Peng Yingdeng, Chief Engineer of the National Urban Environmental Pollution Control Technology Research Center, deeply interpreted the "Ten Articles on Solid Waste" , exploring the resonance zone between policy dividends and technological innovation; Professor Lü Xiwu of the School of Energy and Environment at Southeast University reiterated the path of "systematic view of green development" ; Professor Li Jun of Zhejiang University of Technology declared the concept that "when talent is boundless, development is boundless" ; Shen Qi, Chairman of Jiangsu Yake Technology Co., Ltd. , from a capital perspective, elaborated the strategic vision that "investing in environmental protection is investing in the future."

Five experts and entrepreneurs, from the five dimensions of value, policy, system, talent, and capital, completely outlined the practical blueprint for Yixing's environmental protection "boundless development." Yixing's environmental protection thrives because of boundlessness and is strong because of innovation. In the next fifty years, it will surely create greater glory by breaking boundaries.

The galaxy of industry is ultimately illuminated by generation after generation of youth in relay. The final act of the conference turned the spotlight on the new generation.

Wang Pengyao of Penyao Environmental Protection, with the sharpness of a new-generation entrepreneur, advocated actively seeking change amid change; Xiang Zaifeng of Aruide Huifu shared the vivid practice of environmental protection equipment "going global," demonstrating the global ambition of Yixing manufacturing; Zhao Xing of Guohe Green Materials focused on the new track of water conservation, telling the story of "the green journey of a drop of water."

The young entrepreneurs proved through action: True industrial inheritance lies not in preserving the past, but in daring to break through and actively defining the future with new concepts, new technologies, and new tracks!

From "Seeking Boundaries" to review the original aspiration, to "Crossing Boundaries" to absorb wisdom, through "Questioning Boundaries" for deep dialectics, to "Boundlessness" for youth action, this conference constructed a logically closed and profoundly meaningful intellectual field.

It was not only the highest tribute to the brilliant achievements of Yixing's environmental protection industry over fifty years, but also a comprehensive review, deep consensus, and future mobilization standing at a new historical starting point. The conference greatly enhanced the collective sense of honor, industry belonging, and sense of mission of the times of all Yixing environmental protection people, and clearly pointed out a clear path to achieve high-quality development through technological empowerment, cross-boundary integration, and organizational evolution in the new era.

Fifty years is a thank-you note of gratitude to the past, and even more a starting gun for a resounding future.
