The Hukou County Wuqiao Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion and Renovation Project is a key livelihood project aimed at enhancing the urban wastewater treatment capacity and improving water environment quality in Hukou County. The total construction period is 116 days. Upon completion, the wastewater treatment scale will be expanded from the original 20,000 tons/day to 25,000 tons/day, and the effluent quality will stably meet the Grade 1A standard of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB18918-2002), building a solid defense line for the ecological protection of the Poyang Lake Basin.

This project adopts the advanced combined process of AAO-MBR-Magnetic Coagulation, forming a complete treatment flow of "pretreatment + AAO biochemical treatment + MBR membrane separation + magnetic coagulation advanced treatment + disinfection." This process combines multiple advantages including high treatment efficiency, excellent effluent quality, and stable and reliable operation, perfectly adapting to the high requirements of this expansion and renovation.

Three Core Technologies Building an Efficient Wastewater Treatment System:

AAO Biochemical Treatment: By optimizing the hydraulic retention time of each zone and precisely regulating dissolved oxygen and sludge return ratio, efficient removal of COD, ammonia nitrogen, and total nitrogen from wastewater is achieved, ensuring the system can still operate stably after the water volume increase.

MBR Membrane Separation: Membrane modules replace traditional secondary sedimentation tanks to achieve efficient solid-liquid separation. This not only greatly improves sludge concentration and biochemical treatment efficiency, but also effectively intercepts suspended solids, colloids, and microorganisms, making effluent quality far exceed that of traditional processes.

Magnetic Coagulation Advanced Treatment: By dosing magnetic powder and high-efficiency flocculants, high-density magnetic flocs are formed to achieve rapid sedimentation. The hydraulic retention time is short, and the footprint is only 40%-60% of traditional processes, further strengthening the advanced treatment effect.

Equipment Installation and Commissioning: For core equipment such as MBR membrane modules, magnetic coagulation systems, and dosing devices, full-process technical support is provided from foundation installation to precise commissioning. Combined with actual on-site water quality and quantity, key indicators of the biochemical system are optimized, assisting in quickly completing system linkage commissioning.

Safety Risk Control: In response to the characteristics of the construction area being adjacent to an operating dosing area with hydrogen safety hazards, the team cooperated with the construction unit to formulate a hot work safety plan, upholding the bottom line of project construction safety.
