From AI agents' control of operational precision to modular construction's compression of time and space costs, the same logic runs throughout—rejecting experiential inertia and reconstructing traditional models with systems thinking.

For Yixing's environmental protection industry, which excels in engineering implementation and equipment manufacturing, this is like a striking wake-up call. We once stood at the forefront with rapid response and cost advantages, but when technology productization and unmanned operations become the new normal, are our past moats turning into cognitive walls?

True innovation has never been merely about stacking technical parameters, but about being willing to run a business like doing scientific research—investigating principles, validating models, and making rational decisions. "Valuing technology and loving science" is not a slogan, but action.

From "Sightseeing" to "Observation and Critical Thinking"

The so-called "seeking wisdom" focuses not on "seeing," but on "asking" and "dissecting."

To keep the inspection from being superficial, the association specially invited Wu Changmin, General Manager of Zhongchi New Concept, to accompany the group throughout, dissecting process flows, business logic, and industry trends on site.

At the first project—Xishan Zhonghe Operation Center (reclaimed water direction)—everyone focused on the business model of transforming reclaimed water from a cost center into a profit unit, and the Water Radish AI agent. At the second project—Longting New Water Island Demonstration Project (AI agent unmanned water island)—discussions centered on modular construction, AI environmental protection applications, and breakthroughs in traditional pain points.

The entire study tour was like a progressive collective deliberation—there were no standard answers, but the act of raising questions itself was the starting point of cognitive upgrade. And this ability to "break out of inertia and pursue the essence" is precisely the underlying literacy Yixing environmental protection enterprises need to lead again.

Cultivating the Next Generation of Decision-Makers Through Practical Simulation

This study tour was also the second thematic practice session of the "Yixing Environmental Protection Industry Second Generation Growth Camp." Unlike conventional training, the Growth Camp does not attempt to instill knowledge, but rather creates real industry scenarios for the younger generation to build judgment through observation, questioning, and simulation.

Yixing's environmental protection second generation is entrusted with higher expectations: they are not passive listeners, but preparers for future decisions. Around the open-ended proposition of healthy and sound enterprise operation, they are pushed to shift from a purely technical perspective to more comprehensive business-rational thinking. The productization and intelligentization directions demonstrated by the two projects made these young people clearly see: the environmental protection industry is undergoing a paradigm shift. Future leaders not only need to understand technology and management, but also need cross-boundary vision and systems thinking.

Succession has never been merely about taking over a company, but about taking over a whole set of judgment standards regarding technology routes, business models, and customer value. This kind of judgment cannot be acquired from books; it can only be gradually cultivated through repeated observation, exchange, and accumulation. The value of the Growth Camp lies precisely in providing such a continuously incubating platform.
